The latest Cochrane reviews are suggesting that research from a number of studies shows some evidence for prebiotic use in infants to 2 years of age in prevention of asthma and eczema.
They are looking at the benefits of adding pre-biotics ( the small chemical components of the foods listed above) to infant formula.
